Rock and Roll of the ages..... for all ages - young and old
Meet Joe Finetti!
Joe Finetti began his singing career in college when, in the course of his study of the finer points of the trombone and drums at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, he began singing with a jazz vocal group known as Phil Mattson & The P.M. Singers, who were up for two Grammys in 1985. He also began singing radio and T.V. jingles for a local producer.
He quickly learned that the words “quality, value, selection, and low price” could be applied to almost any brand of product, and he started writing jingles, which got him a job as a jingle writer in Indianapolis, where he did a lifetime of jingle singing and writing in a single year. Embittered, Joe headed home to San Francisco to sing briefly with Bobby McFerrin’s Voicestra , followed by a stint in another Grammy-nominated group, The Bobs, where he wrote, arranged and produced 6 albums, numerous T.V. and radio recordings, as well as commercial and industrial music for 14 years before joining The Diamonds in June, 2003.
