Rock and Roll of the ages..... for all ages - young and old

Meet Gary Owens!

Baritone singer, Gary Owens, has spent the longest time as a Diamond in the history of the group, joining forces with John Felton in 1974. A well-rounded musician, Gary learned his craft as a journeyman bass player around Los Angeles while earning his undergraduate degree in music at California State University, Long Beach. In the early 1980's Gary took a brief hiatus from The Diamonds to complete his Master's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California.

Besides singing, playing saxophone and flute, he is an accomplished bass guitar player and does most of the vocal arranging and wardrobe designing for The Diamonds. Gary and his wife reside in Reno, Nevada.
